Curator Lance Fung assembled an impressive number of artists and community partners for Wonderland, an impressive multi-site art exhibition in the Tenderloin.
Broadway producer Rocco Landesman has been nominated.
I thought this comment to one of Andrew Taylor's blog posts on The Artful Manager was both amusing and depressing.
I can see where the commenter who asked "why do we expect managers to be different than other people," but I think it would be interesting to keep score for a week and see which of these Reasons rise to the top.

This show falls into the best-$15-I-spent-this-year-without-having-any-idea-what-to-expect category.
I found this New York Times article interesting, particularly in light of the fact that a few SF organizations are or will soon be moving to larger spaces.
Seeing Sean Dorsey's Uncovered: The Diary Project inspired me to start keeping track of the many artists, exhibitions, performances and organizations I am seeing for the first time. Not long analyses, just a written record, so I remember. This is entry #1.
